Night Out.

so dinner last nite with the original parties were canceled at the eleventh hour due to the demise of a friend's friend's mother. pretty scarry coz my other friend's friend died of a heart attack recently. and my friend's uncle also died - my sister's boyfriend's goodfriend's 7 month old son also died due to complications.

so i had dinner with my sisters instead.
sisterly bond. talked about lots of stuff.

the budget - ciggie price has gone up to RM8.80 - cant actually give that up, now that the number is so feng-shui-y. the last part is from me. we didnt actually come up with that last nite. i just figured that out now. so, looks like i'm gonna have to stop at the next budget.

caitlyn - she's a cutie but dun mention it to JK. hah.

new addition to our generation - myra danielle. looks exactly like the mum. what are the odds of her 2nd name in this month - of all month.

bali - yeahhhhhhhhh.. finally its confirmed, booked & here we come!!! next year. still got time to diet as i'm planning to wear bikini 24-7. btw, my sis so gonna kill jc & the clims for not adding them into the email threads and not letting them in the "conversation". appparently, they might not go but they want to know anyway. so kiasu! which i ended up say, "koto-sepa suru..selalu tia pandai jawab" in english - "serve u right - that's why - always never answer" - well, something like that.

d - what else can i say. 10 years is a long deal. damn how stupid can one be?

it was the first night i actually finished a meal in days now - mee hoon tomyam extremely hot. of coz, it was never hot. never. but it doesnt stop me from ordering, "neh - pedas ah. gila-gila pedas punya. sampai tak boleh makan." - everytime.. for once i wish they actually follow my instruction. i mean, how hard can that be ?? put lots and lots of cili padi lah. ishhh..

the bonding ends when i said the magic words, "come lets go out tonite."
the sisters: ok.

so, we quickly settled the bills and went back. of course the "mood" to go out was not as strong as it used to be. at home, we quickly settled into our routine, checking emails. check out blogs. FB. whats nice on astro.

By 11.00, sk: "are we going or not?"
2k: "hmmmm... ok-la"

im pretty sure it has nothing to do with the age thingy.

before we know it, we end up @The Loft though we actually wanted to go Retro - but we didnt know where exactly that place is. saddddddddd. We were avoiding our 2nd home at all cost. as i dont want to bump into someone with someone extremely hot. heh? my failed heart wouldnt be able to take it. haha. TL was playing house music. it was so loud. there were few guys dancing with each other on the small stage doing this similar small steps that makes me wonder, are they gay or are they the house dancers?? by the way, since when cover charge gone up sky high? RM40?? since when?? i am soooooo out of touch with the night life.

i down my stupid drink trying to get into mood. my sis had a sip of her v-lime and said, "yuck" ..

again. im pretty sure that was not her age talking.

we were not really into the 'House' scene. i mean growing up with shenny then later hrc - what can i say? but we tried anyway. but the music were getting louder and louder and the pitch was getting higher and higher. arrggghhh. and we ended up at the small balcony they had outside. much better for our brain.

vsk - "i should've just ordered coke. wasted!!" - ok. that could be the age talking.

heh.

a guy suddenly came to where we were sitting. shake hands with everybody - us that is and said the killer line, "hello. boleh berkenalan?"

what the f**** ???

is that the pick up lines the kids are using nowadays??

our blur-face says it all. its time to go.
we should've just gone to our 2nd home in the 1st place.

finally, we ended up at Canai & Such, drinking nescafe ice.

yup.. life makes sense again.

LOL. odooiii... wat a big turn off.

trust me woman, it is not an age thingy. we have moved on to a more less complicated phase. where sanity and peace of mind is more important than puking our guts out on a friday/saturday night.

betul ni, i re-studied maslow herarchy of needs, then it hit me.
