Just got the chance to watch it last nite. it was a long movie. damnn..probably had to watch it again later coz my mind was not with the movie half of the time.
i tried to understand what makes this movie THE movie since everybody's been talking about how great it was and all.
I mean - did i missed anything??
Other than the fact that Heath Ledger had his early demised during/after this movie was made (due to the curse apparently) - i dont find this movie THAT interesting.
its ok.
its watchable.
HL just seems to be so (OVERLY so) disturbing and it scares me to think of him that way.
he deserves an oscar for this role.
maybe i cannot (as much as i wanted too) like this movie coz it killed HL (well - not literally - still....) . i love him. he's too cute to die that young. and this - crazy & disturbing role - had to be his last role.
i stick to the 'painted face' theory. dun u think its almost like brandon lee's story?
nobody should've their face painted like that.
what a curse!!
