the first open water dive on the very first day was pretty hard for me. eventhough we had done most of the exercises during the confined water dive, doing it in open water is totally different thing.. one thing, one need to take into account the current - waves - super extreme heat.. and not to mention salt water..
truthfully, im not really a beach person.
well, i am - to some extend - having lived near the beach for the most part of my life - and by that, i meant : my sisters & i used to lepak at Tg Aru beach (@ KK) every chances we had . we'll buy manggo (put lots & lots of chilli) from this particular fruit stall there and lepak by the beach enjoying the sunset..
(hmmm.. not so much on the sunset.. im guessing "cuties" would be more accurate.. hahaha)
im not really into suntan-ing. i am already dark enough.
as much as i love swimming - im not really into the heat.. im not really into the sand.. im not really into the salt water..

and im particularly NOT fond on the super duper heavy stuff i had to carry on my back..
thats alot of thing not to be fond at - kan..
and anyway...
after that 1st dive, i almost gave up -
- i even asked myself - why the hell did i take up this activity or even think of taking it in the first place???
why God, why???
it was that bad.
i cant really remember what was my state of mind then..
maybe i didnt get enough coffee..
which obviously can contribute to a system shutdown (for me la heheh)..
maybe the lack of caffeine in the system lead to a slower process of stuff..
i dont know..
maybe..
but by the 2nd dive, things were alot easier and acceptable than the 1st time..
i even had fun.
and i loved every minute of it.
maybe the fact that i had coffee helped me in most part.

i started to remember why i took this up - i love the swimming underwater bit.. its a totally different world - though, im not really fond of the super duper over the top HOT weather.. which cant really be avoided regardless of what activities im taking - but once im underwater - everything else seems so minimal and it was worth it.
even if there were sea-urchins everywhere.. staring at us.. which forced me to control my buoyancy - so that i wont ever EVER land on any of those thingy.

by the 4th dive, we went to our maximum 18 meter depth and due to the poor visibility - our instructor lost us.. or was it that we lost our instructor?? of course, we didnt know this until we were on the surface..
until now, im still in the dark as to what actually happened.. coz whatever conversation there is/are - whatever discussion there was/were - in regards of what happened that day was never conversed or discussed with me. it was done right infront of me... unfortunately - it was all in totally different language.
not that i'm complaining.
but sometimes, i wish - people can try not making some of us feel like a total outsider, out of place.. like fish out of water.
(hehehhee.. i kinda like the 'fish out of water' terminology.. so in line with the post.. kannnn...)
not all the times.. but most of the times.
o'well.. not that it matters.

but other than that, i had fun -
so much so that i cant wait for my next trip...
just look at me.. so happy one.

damn.. so ugly one..
......... more to come. later.
