bye bye bali... ????

ok.. its american idol night.. but i have to skip tonight due to recent forwarded email i just received.. which consequently killed my holiday in the making..

just to put on record - in regards to idol - again, im hoping li'l to go out tomorrow.. or maybe bye bye scotty - or anoop..

im not sure how true this 'warning' is.. or whether its just a hoax people trying to put out there after what happened in italy..

obviously, this is not a good news.. hoax or otherwise.. but having seen what happened in the last tsunami.. im not putting myself into that statistic.. not when i can avoid it..

so, until someone can confirm this 'warning' is just a hoax - which im hoping will happen real real soon.. im gonna have to forget everything about bali.. for now..

as you all know, im going to bali in July. and the timing is just mind-blowing coz im gonna be in bali when it hits. if i do go on with the plan.. so much for earth hour huh???

anyways..

here's how the story goes..

something about the eclipse.. the position of the sun and the moon - the gravity - which will cause the pulling of the earth plate - or whatever it is you call it.. and what happens is big super duper earthquake.. and this also causes tsunami when the sea area is effected.. like you dont know how tsunami is formed kan..

well... if you look at the blue path above - that is the lunar path i.e. those places that achieve the full solar eclipse at around 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Red dots show where the solar eclipse will be full.

it was predicted a 6+ Magnitude Quake on July 22 2009 at 3:00PM Local Japanese time. This will be followed by two level 5+ Earthquakes and a Tsunami between 5:00PM and 7:00PM.

The tsunami will start out in the pacific ocean (to the South East of Japan ... Along the fault line) and hit all the islands to the south west of Japan, Indonesia and even reach New Zealand. The major quakes will actually be along the fault lines in the Ocean.

it is advised to stay away from the beaches all around in the month of July. it is going 2 be really bad and countries like Malaysia (Sabah & Sarawak), Singapore, Maldives, Australia, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, India, Indonesia, Philippines are going 2 be badly hit.
