Lost Cause?

this was in the paper today..
issue has been in debate for the past couple of months now..

Msian Insider: The government had recently ordered a ban on the Herald's Malay edition until the court makes its decision, as part of conditions for it to be allowed to continue publishing in English, Chinese and Tamil.

......... groups have been up in arms over the Catholic newspaper’s use of the word “Allah” and were particularly upset when the ban was rescinded on Friday.

These ...... groups have argued that allowing Christians to use the word “Allah” would cause confusion among .........

They are also suspicious about the intent of Christians, with some accusing churches of trying to use the word “Allah” to convert ...........

first and foremost - no disrespect intended here to whomever in any way whatsoever..

but having read it in the paper - day in/ day out.. i feel like vomiting my lungs out - like enuf already! as much as i hate to admit - i do have opinion..

no. 1: Catholic Herald is only circulated within the Catholic community.. should start putting a DISCLAIMER - read at your risk kinda thing..

no. 2: COULD IT BE that what was read was strongly believable that it can cause someone somewhat 'confused' which leads to one's faith being shaken to the very core??

If NO - then - what is the big deal here??

if it is REALLY possible to be confused (could happen!! no denying there.....) - then, who do we blame?

the writers ?
or
the faith of the reader ?

truthfully, i dont give any **#&$@%?** whether the word or translation or name (on someone who cannot be named) can be used or not.

what's in a name anyway?

He would still be who He is. and we will still believe what we believe.
Unless of course if the writers really do refers to 'so & so'.

this is just one of them fights that we shouldnt be bothered [with or to fight back] to begin with.

just my opinion.
not that i know any better.
