The Wedding - part 2

the theme was traditional.

so, we opted for a black dress (or black something) and then, jahit sendiri the golden thingy. we put quite an effort on our dresses and yeah.. it was almost murudu like.

almost. but not quite.

east meet west kinda thing. can la ah..

alaa... cant really see my dress there.. wait.. got some more..

anywayzzzzz.. the entrance of the bride & groom was a bit different from other weddings i've been to.

see what i mean.

she lambai2 here and there.. totally like unduk ngadau queen. as all brides, C was beautiful and looking hot HOT HOT.. that pilates thingy really works man!!! and to think that weeks before that (or was it months before that??) - she was complaining boroi-boroi-boroi..

ish-ish-ish... tidak pun..

it was a great entrance. though sia takut si C terjatuh.. but didnt happen. so thats a good thing. hehe..
then the whole family members were on stage..

and the B&G exchanged ermmm.. was it food or cake? should be food. coz the groom is holding a spoon - i think..

i cant really see what was it from where i was sitting.. and i was abit shy to catwalk all the way to the front-stage just to take pictures of them.. i have this phobia of falling down infront of everybody.. coz me being me.. i can fall and slip even on a flat surface and while using flats.

so.. i delegated the duty to my younger sister.. coz well.. thats what younger sister is for..

hehe.. she happily obliged.

and these are what she came up with.

if any of u plan to marry a girl/boy of a kadus origin.. u need to learn this dance.. a.k.a. sumazau.. im not very good at it myself.. but can-la.. enough to jual tambirang. i feel pressured if i had to go to a kadus wedding (no pun intended!!) - which i have been to alot... and to be given (or at times thrown at u) that sarong i.e. that selendang thingy - which is basically an invitation to dance.. by invitation i meant you have to.. no way out..

yeah.. i am that shy (ok most people will puke their guts out hearing that).. so far, i managed to escape.. but luck tends to run out sometimes.. lucky at this wedding teda tukang cari mangsa.. so.. i was ok..

feel kinda weird here sitting in the middle of almost look-alike twin from two separate parents. haha.. the bride herself (whom is now my cousin-in-law) and my li'l sis..

hmmm.. by the way..
not to take the glory or "thunder" away from the bride and groom.. but hands down.. this is by far.. the cutest couple that night.. heheh..

but in real life.. they kenot jadi couple.. nanti kena sogit tu.. haha
