the lighting of the christmas tree at rockerfeller centre has always been monumental as the start of the season. for the new yorker at least.. the first time i saw it was in "Home Alone" where little macaulay got lost in New York.
I love christmas tree and everything that cums with it.. especially those yg nicely decorated with lots and lots of christmas lights.
the mere act of putting up a christmas tree at home always always marked the beginning of my christmas - at least thats how i feel - even if i put it up as early as in mid-november... and i get to have that christmas spirit bit longer than a month.
