Black or White

when MJ lookalike held a concert in KK many-many years ago.. organized by my dad in his capacity as the Sabah Chess Club President - he told the local paper that he was a fan since he was very young.. even my dad forgets his age at times .. haha.. and the next day, there was a cartoon in the local paper (KK's Lat equivalent - wats his name??) .. my dad having hairdo like MJ and wearing the MJ apparel walking towards his office with a caption by one of the workers, "YB kah tu??"

thats one of those thing that i remember, when i think of MJ.

50 is still young.. considering.

but truthfully, MJ was never really my favourite.. especially after that super white fiasco.. and the reconstruction of everything - physically..

i do wonder if he's capable of being just like any other tom, dick and harry..

MJ was ok at his most normal self.. even if he's a self-proclaimed king of pop. one would need a very high self-esteem to do that.. and a confidence level that goes beyond mount everest. and if anybody can do that.. MJ can self-proclaimed anything..

and he rightfully claimed that title.. and over the years, earned it..

its almost believable that you forgotten who gave him the title in the first place..

for me, he's still one scary man.. had i seen him outside my house in the middle of the night, it will freak me out (but im sure it'll soon followed with 'omg' moment - with flashes of camera here and there. of course. it is MJ afterall)

.. but having said that.. the freaking me out part - he had the last laugh.. and his generation can continue doing so all the way to the bank..

hmmmm... i wonder how much he's worth now...

well.. he did his thing. and he did it his way.

and it works. not physically though. that is the only thing that doesnt work.

the world had lost another great artist.

so.. in spite of his weird ways.. he did contributed alot - song that we sang along to in karaoke - whether as a frontman or background singer..
