reflection sh*t

"the past is like an old pair of shoes.
once its worn out,
it has to be thrown out.

when it no longer serves any purpose
- it has to be disposed of."

saw this 'reflection' in one of my friend's note in FB.

and the mere fact that the note is posted - even if it has nothing to do with me whatsoever - though one can never be quite sure on what is or is not real anymore - really define who this person is way way deep inside. what this person's soul is made of.

maybe i read it wrongly in my head.
i dunno. maybe its monday.

but really people.. and YOU - whoever you are.. how can a past reduced to just a 'service' for a purpose ? no matter how bad or how good it was - to know that it was only a service for a purpose totally degrade memories for memories' sake..

we are all everybody's past. if we are only a 'service' to serve whatever purpose there is - that is totally giving friendship a whole new meaning. and its not in a good way.

i respect people's opinion - or whatever reflection shit they come up with. I may not have to agree with it. and most time, i take it in without judgment.

but this one.. OMG.. i cant help but judge the person who wrote it and believing the truth in it..
