im not really a facebook junkie..
ok. i was at first. i was hooked in headbutting people, poking them, throwing them sheep and stuff.. yeah and trying to make my vampire stronger and stronger.. after some time, i got fed up with it. i mean.. whats the point??
looking beyond the applications by ignoring it, applying it, deleting it - the best thing about facebook is that it brings old-old long lost forgotten friends into ur life again, right into ur bedroom or ur office or wherever it is u r viewing it from.
esp those that u havent met in donkey years... those u last seen their face during uni years - SPM years or even SRP years.. and some even from ur primary years..
i mean, meeting them up again - even if its only in FB makes me realise that we are old - trying to hold on to our watever leftover youth there is.
so, thats one good thing, i guess. thats one technology perks that im ok with. i still havent gotten over the fact that i never received any christmas card for years now. yeahs virtual cards doesnt count.
and i dont know why its funny when we met someone from our yester-years, and after all these years, they still look the same... i mean O.M.G. some people are just lucky u know. well, it wouldnt do me any good had i look the same. coz i look bad. and i mean baddddd... my fringe was like gunung kinabalu and i was always warned by the pengawas.. "kasi turun sikit tu.." damn... had to wash off the gel. we were kinda stuck with the 80s style where ladylike jeans were the in thing (now, E! channel nominated it as a fashion NO (with capital everything) - they called it mummy jeans)
thats a definitely OMG moments.
last month i met this good friend of mine from SRP years.. i think the 1st 2 months in form 4 was the last i seen her and yeah.. i have been wondering what the hell happened to her.. and thanks to FB, i found her out of nowhere. luckily she was forced by a fren of hers to join FB and she reluctantly did.
we met up and we sat in the restaurant from lunch time to dinner time, chatting away like nobody's business. and i forgot to bring my camera. damn. though she looks different now, but she still look the same. and she still the same good fren i had back then. i mean, with all the years of 'wisdom' or 'life' or 'experience' or whatever shit there is - rarely, i think, it actually changes any of us.
no matter how good life was - or how bad life was - when it comes down to it - at the end of the day - we are still us back then.
kids nowadays - with all this going on - there wouldnt be any reason how they can ever lost touch with their friends. i wouldnt say thats a good thing coz there wouldnt be any surprise anymore on how everyone turn out to be in the future. not as much anyway.
well, glad to see u old friends. though i dont think they're here to read this since this blog is not widely marketed. (i still feel abit weird not knowing who read this blog. but what the hell.. as long as i dont start a gossip column i guess im ok. for now.) but im glad anyway. that no matter how good life turn out to be for some of us, inside we're still that goofy teenagers that we thought had lost along the way.
oh ya. here's the pic from yesterday's mini reunion. mini coz there's only a handful of us here in KL that can actually be contacted or free.

thats about it.
and yeah. im back to being a facebook junnkie.
damn-it!!
